My passion for sailing developed since I was a child, though my homeland was the mountains. I started sailing dinghies and cruising boats only in the second part of my life, purely as a hobby in my limited free time.
I am an organizational psychologist and I worked for 34 years at a large multinational company as expert in the research and assessment of leadership behaviors. As part of my long career I managed large projects and developed new business opportunities. I like to make things work – from development programs to computer software to boat rigging.
I quit my job as an employee to make a dream come true – sail beyond the Pillars of Hercules to explore new seas and cultures. Key to this project is my partner Gemma with whom we share several passions, and that after a few years of sailing together still hasn’t pushed me overboard!
